About the webmistress
Hi, my name is Joyce. It is pronouced as joysss. I'm a female who has a mop of black hair and likes to eat bananas. I'm probably about 17 or 18 or 19 years of age, take your pick.
All my layouts are watermarked with Jellybeanne, because it's an old alias of mine.
I was born on the 9th of December, and I like to believe that I'm very tall, even though most probably you'll be able to rest your arm on my head.
I live in a small country above Singapore (and no, we do not live on trees, and yes, we do have electricity), and I can be usually found lazing around listening to music, staring at the sky, using the PC, or sleeping. I also enjoy making pastry, cakes and cupcakes, playing with plasticine and sitting in front of my computer wondering what else to write for my about me page.
My other sites: Stars*inmyroom (blog), Twentyhours (deviantart), Solitaira (portfolio)
You can contact me through emailing.
Loves holidays, bananas, small animals (so I can just kick them away if they bite me), sleeping and shopping with money. Movies by Jim Carrey & Stephen Chow (Sing Chee). I also have a fetish for cookie dough ice cream and cartoon plasters.
Loathes mathematics, house lizards, dust, dead hair.
About Element: rain
Element: rain designs is small graphic site that provides her visitors free, but linkware avatars and layouts.
She was opened on July 22nd 2005, when I just purchased my first domain, sixelements.org.
She also used to provide numerous Rurouni Kenshin layouts, but I lost interest in RK and scraped them all off from my server. I will not claim that my graphics are of "quality", but rather, I'll let you be the judge of that.
A little bit of history
Element: rain designs is actually a revival of Upcast Graphics, which I closed down in mid-2004, because I was facing exams.
It was also partially due to the fact that I started to feel the graphics I was offering then started to look more and more like crap.
After a lot of thought, I decided to save my host (camena.org) the embarrassment as well as what was left of my dignity, and sent everything to the recycle bin. I never felt more safer when I right clicked >> empty recycle bin.
So after many experiments and tutorial-reading(s), Element: rain designs came to life, offering all the layouts I made in between early 2005 to the day I opened E:rain.
Oh and yes - She was named Element: rain designs because I couldn't come up with a better name. The creativity in me that spewed over was just too much for me to handle.
